In many communities around the world the consumption of turtle eggs is deeply engrained in the local culture. Unfortunately, regardless of it being an endangered species, turtle eggs are poached and consumed in high numbers in central and south America. 

Tortugas Pedasi is a Panamanian association dedicated to the conservation of sea turtles - the aim of this campaign is to raise awareness on this highly ignored environmental issue and to get households who consume turtle eggs on a regular basis to pledge to become a turtle egg free household.
